THAT LYING BITCH ...

Any musician has the right to create a 2nd band if they choose and that's exactly what 2 of the band mates from the Plain White T's have done. The band is called "That Lying Bitch" and it consists of Tom Higgenson and Dave Tirio from the T's as well as 2 other guys named Darren and Eric. They have decided to start from square 1 again after all these many years. The guys met back in High School and have always played in Punk Bands. Darren had a band called "THE SCISSORS" and apparently he talks about his EX in the new band's music. She was the guitarist in Darren's old band which ended a few months before "THAT LYING BITCH" was created. Eric and Darren are on the guitar in the group while Tom's on the drums and Dave's on the bass. Darren uses a VOX in the group and everyone is on backups. The band's name came to be when Tom told Darren he had his Kerplunk Greenday album and turned out Tom didn't have it after all. The guys are only playing around Chicago as of now but perhaps they'll tour around, eventually with even the T's. Their tunes are pretty catchy and can be only heard as of now via on youtube. Here's a clip of them at a gig.  

Their Nicknames are: Peeping Tom, Darren Trama, The Godfather & of course Dave Hovno.

If you ever get a chance you should really check them out .. Their influence for their music is actually The Ramones.  All of the band photos posted in this blog post are from the band's facebook page.

the 1st few out of the bunch for you all

I have recently asked a few musicians if they would be on board with keeping me posted about there musical projects that are happening now & also may be in store in the future. The first one who said she would be on board with this is Stell Rosales.  She is working on some amazing things right now.  She is creating a few new songs and has decided to be apart of a few new plays this year.  Her music can actually be heard on her sound cloud page & she had told me that she will be heading to London England next year.  

   

The second person who said he would be on board with keeping me updated is actually Mr. Rob Coonrod. He is working on a kickstarter project to actually try and help him travel this world to share his amazing music with folks out there. He has played with a great band called Pink Fuzzy Animals & went to school with Ben Johnson back at Interlochen Academy.  He is in another band now as well called Three Trees.  Here is the link in which you can actually donate to help Rob meet his goal to TOUR the US & perform for us all.

New Adventures & New Surprises In Store For 2013

It's now 2013 & I'm trying to do & incorporate more things into my life that make me more happy.   I have decided to try & keep this blog up to date whenever I truly have the extra time to post on here.  I have decided to keep my readers up to date with bands & musicians & there projects in store.  These musicians will be RED ABBEY BAND,  ALLISON PARK, MIGGS, & hopefully Parachute, the PLAIN WHITE T'S & The All-American Rejects, perhaps Crash Boom Bang & perhaps even maybe Boys Like Girls and a few other amazing musicians too.

So far I've chatted with Allison Park about this & she has told me her project she's working on now is new songs & trying to create an awesome album for everyone.

I hope this new idea comes together well enough that it allows my dreams to come true & let me work with photography with bands & help with creating album cover art designs too.
