A NEW YEAR .. A NEW TOUR - THAT LYING BITCH 2016

SO I'M SORRY I HAVEN'T BEEN ON HERE IN A WHILE .. BUT HERE IS A NEW POST .. I HAVE RECENTLY FOUND OUT THAT THE BAND THAT LYING BITCH MAY FINALLY BE HITTING BALTIMORE THIS YEAR .. ONCE THEY TOUR I AM ACTUALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO HOPEFULLY MEETING DARREN & HANGING WITH DAVE AGAIN ..

                                                         

THE BAND HAS RELEASED RECENTLY 2 NEW SONGS ONTO ITUNES CALLED " TOTALLY FUCKED FOR YOU" & "I CAN'T WAIT TILL YOU GET DEAD" BOTH ARE ACTUALLY VERY CATCHY TUNES & I MUST SAY THAT MY NEW FAVORITE TUNE OF THEIRS HAS TO BE "I CAN'T WAIT TILL YOU GET DEAD"

TLB New Music & New Shows April 25th & April 27th 2014

To My Readers Out There .. 

This Weekend has a lot of greatness in store. The Band That Lying Bitch has just released their 2 songs "I've Been Doing Fun Sh.. Without You" & "How Am I Supposed To Hate You When I Love You" into iTunes. The band will actually be playing this weekend 2 shows out in the WEST COAST. To those who get a chance to see them you totally should. They will be playing Friday April 25th at  Molly Malones at 8pm in Los Angeles and on Sunday at the Triple B's at 8pm in Las Vegas. 

So guys .. Go check them out on iTunes & buy their new songs .. You won't regret it .. & if you are near the locations this weekend for their shows & if you have the time .. Definitely go support this band & watch them perform.

I've Been Doing Fun Shit Without You .. 

SXSW Austin TX - That Lying Bitch

So I told you I would keep you all posted on anything NEW that may go down with TLB.

Well "THAT LYING BITCH" is starting to hit the road folks & looks like Darren, Eric, Tom & Dave are hitting SXSW Music Festival in Austin TX. The band will be playing March 12 - March 16. If you get some time and are out at the SXSW you really should check them out. 

The band has also just released a new song out on YouTube as well called "I've Been Doing Fun Shit Without You" & it really is a catchy tune. If you ever get a chance to hear it you really should. My guess is they possibly may be working on a New EP or a New Album if they are releasing out the New Single now.

THAT LYING BITCH ...

Any musician has the right to create a 2nd band if they choose and that's exactly what 2 of the band mates from the Plain White T's have done. The band is called "That Lying Bitch" and it consists of Tom Higgenson and Dave Tirio from the T's as well as 2 other guys named Darren and Eric. They have decided to start from square 1 again after all these many years. The guys met back in High School and have always played in Punk Bands. Darren had a band called "THE SCISSORS" and apparently he talks about his EX in the new band's music. She was the guitarist in Darren's old band which ended a few months before "THAT LYING BITCH" was created. Eric and Darren are on the guitar in the group while Tom's on the drums and Dave's on the bass. Darren uses a VOX in the group and everyone is on backups. The band's name came to be when Tom told Darren he had his Kerplunk Greenday album and turned out Tom didn't have it after all. The guys are only playing around Chicago as of now but perhaps they'll tour around, eventually with even the T's. Their tunes are pretty catchy and can be only heard as of now via on youtube. Here's a clip of them at a gig.  

Their Nicknames are: Peeping Tom, Darren Trama, The Godfather & of course Dave Hovno.

If you ever get a chance you should really check them out .. Their influence for their music is actually The Ramones.  All of the band photos posted in this blog post are from the band's facebook page.
