The band has had many albums over the years including their self titled album called The All-American Rejects. Which came out in 2002 on the dream works record label which had SWING, SWING as it's single.
The 2nd album of course which everyone knows titled MOVE ALONG fathered the hits of MOVE ALONG, DIRTY LITTLE SECRET & IT ENDS TONIGHT. This lead them to further mainstream success in 2005.
In 2008 came the band's hit album WHEN THE WORLD COMES DOWN with their tunes of MONA LISA (WHEN THE WORLD COMES DOWN) to even the top hit .. GIVES YOU HELL.
In 2012 the world saw the band's 4th album KIDS IN THE STREET. Which talks about reminiscing about your youth. The days of our pasts when things actually seemed to make sense.
In 2015 we saw a new single by the band called There's A Place. Which seems to talk about remembering people that have passed & talking to those loved ones in the dream state. It is actually a very beautiful concept.
In 2017 we saw the band come out with the new singles SEND HER TO HEAVEN & SWEAT on their new label Epitaph. During all of this the band has continued to tour.
From 2017 until 2025 the band had taken a step back where the guys actually ended up doing their own things. Tyson created a side band called NOW MORE THAN EVER & he actually became a painter aka another ARTIST. He actually even became a dad.
Nick went back to college by taking courses online in 2020. By attending courses through Berklee College Of Music to focus on mixing, engineering & orchestration. He was able to get a certificate so he can produce other artists in his own studio. Which Nick calls it WHEELHOUSE STUDIO. This is actually located on his property in Nashville.
Mike he has produced some other artists as well including Screeching Weasel, Masked Intruder & Red City Radio.
Then you get Chris aka Gaylor. To me that dude is still a mystery during the hiatus time I am uncertain what that dude did. My personal guess was kept up with hitting those drums.
In 2024 the world saw a taste of a come back of the guys when they played WHEN WE WERE YOUNG FESTIVAL.
When 2025 came along the world saw the resurgence of THE REJECTS again. They were officially back to show the world what all have missed. They took one idea to take the music scene back to where it all began. They were doing pop up house party shows all over the USA. In truth that was such a brilliant idea to do. It actually created a new generation of fans to stumble onto the guys. We finally found out that we were getting a new album by the band titled SANDBOX. We saw the guys hit SDCC as THE BEATLES, we saw them even hit WARPED TOUR.
Now we have hit 2026. THE REJECTS are back. They have hit the UK with SANDBOX, they are heading back out to finish out the HOUSE PARTY TOUR & will be heading out to Australia in 2027 with THE GOOD THINGS FESTIVAL.
The band has been apart of so many people's lives and even their childhood memories. It's wonderful to see a new generation is now getting into them too.
I personally have had the privilege to see the guys play numerous times over the years & I hope to catch them again the next time they come near me.
